Katie Reid is the face of K Reid Performance Horses. She comes from Apple Valley, CA where she grew up showing horses under the guidance of her mother Christina Kelley, Stepfather Steve Kelley, and Grandfather George Kapp.  She showed on the All-Around Circuits all the way through high school. She also competed in cutting through AQHA where she qualified and competed at the 2009 AQHA Youth World, and also made the 2009 State Finals through the California High School Rodeo Association.  She then went to college at New Mexico State University where she worked starting colts at the NMSU Horse Farm.  During her time on the NMSU Ranch Horse Team, she competed for National Titles through the American Stock Horse Association with the help of her coach Joby Priest.  She has trained at Double T since her graduation from NMSU in 2015.

She is a well-rounded equestrian who enjoys helping youth and amateurs become better horsemen and enjoy their horses. She specializes in reining, ranch riding, working cow horse, and all around events. She has several other mentors who have shaped her into the trainer that she is today including, Patrick Flaherty, Al Dunning, Judy Bonham and Catherine Decoster.  She has recently added a top ten place in Ranch Riding and tied for third in Reining at the AQHA World Shows to her growing list of accomplishments.  Katie is also a member of the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Association.

No team is complete without the perfect sidekick.  Hannah Blaeser also grew up showing horses in La Mesa, New Mexico.  Hannah has a very impressive show record earning the title as AQHYA Reserve World Champion in Performance Halter Geldings along with multiple Top Ten placings at the AQHYA World Championship Show.  Hannah is a very competitive rider competing in all around Western, English and Ranch Horse events. 

In addition to her impressive show skills, Hannah is a gifted coach who has developed the amazing skill of teaching mentally and physically challenged riders.  Although, it is not her declared specialty, she is an amazing youth coach and has helped several young riders become confident horseman.
